Yes. To ensure that you have the best chance of success with a client, we advise that you have an up-to-date resume outlining your skills and experience, and also including at least two current referees. For tips on creating your Resume click here.
If you have not already sent through your resume by email, please ensure you bring this with you. Also bring any licenses you hold (eg. Car, forklift, etc), certificates of relevant qualifications, and evidence of the right to work in Australia if you are not an Australian citizen.
All our services are free for candidates. You will need to come in person to register your full details and undertake the induction.
Our registration process involves three easy steps:
1. Completion of Employment Application Form, Medical Questionnaire and Skills & Qualifications paperwork (approx. 15 mins);
2. View safety induction WorkSafe DVD (20 mins)
3. One-on-one personal interview with consultant (approx. 20 mins)
Rather than just relying on a resume, our consultants will take the time to talk to you to understand what type of employment and workplace you are looking for, what your specific requirements may be in regards to availability, preferred work location, etc. This ensures you are placed in the right job to suit you.
This may depend on your skills, and those needed by our clients. Sometimes we can offer you an assignment immediately following your interview/registration. With some clients you may have to undergo further interviewing and skills assessment before commencing a position.
Pay week runs Monday to Sunday, and wages are processed for deposit in bank accounts for Wednesday s. Payslips are mailed at the end of each week, either by post, or email. Any pay queries should be directed to NRS, and not to the client.
No we also have jobs that are full time permenant roles. When a candidate is placed as permenant full time their wages, superannuation etc are all paid by our client, which ever client the individual candidate starts working for.
We do not currently deal with clients who require staff for mine site projects.
