Chris WienerChris Wiener - Managing Director

When Chris and Sue Wiener purchased Nationwide Recruitment Services in 2007 it was a "natural" extension to the work Chris has been involved in previously.

Chris has over 26 years experience in the Human Resource area including all aspects of the "employment cycle" and other "offerings" currently provided by the Meelup Group. Sue does not have a day-to-day involvement in the business as she is the Director of Sport for a private girls college; however Sue is involved in the strategy and development of Nationwide.

The 26 years of experience has enabled Chris to provide a client/staff driven environment where both his clients and staff within the Meelup Group are valued.

Whether it be to recruit key positional personnel for your team or to bolster the numbers of general staff during the busy times where you do not wish to "commit" to full time employees, the Meelup Group believe they know how to find the right resource for you.

Chris also has over 14 years experience in providing the diagnostic and development material from Human Synergistics International based in Sydney. He was the co-presenter at their National Conference in Perth on a case study of Cultural Change, the elements, stages and lessons learnt.

Now more then ever before Chris believes the sort of culture you have in your organization, the sort of leadership your leadership team demonstrates and the sort of culture that resides in your joint ventures and alliances, will directly correlate with the returns, profitability and even survival for some companies. This is the very time all companies need to look at their people, leadership styles and overall operating culture (the way you do business) and ask "do we have the right people, the right leadership style and the right culture?".

If not, what do you plan to do to create the right leadership styles, behaviours and culture?

Do you have a vulnerable, volatile or constructive style of leadership and/or culture?

Culture Change and the Financial Crisis - Harvard Business Review
An article by Rosabeth Moss Kanter, from the Harvard Business Review, which reinforces this notion. She agrees that a Constructive Culture is vital in these times; however she also offers some additional thoughts on the imperative role of the leader to drive a return from these dire situations.
